gearing up: tlbd

 

Three boys now on the cusp of adulthood, beloved friends in spite of their opposing fortunes; Aron, Marko and Caysa are outcasts made rivals made friends. One a great and destined warrior, the Dragon-knight, another an heir to a warden-ship he does not want and the last, a commoner acolyte of the pacifistic Imran sect. When Caysa learns what he has always feared true, he knows it is only a matter of fate if his neck meets Aron's sword.

 

With greed, fear and the promise of the truth chasing him, Caysa sets off into the frightening and alluring world beyond the walls of his monastery, Aron and Marko close on his trail.

 

But there are other forces at play, more sinister than mere wild dragons and crueler than mere knights, least of all the mysterious and cold Black Wraith whose ties to Caysa and Aron run deeper than either could expect.

 

A standalone LGBTQ+ romantic fantasy, The Last Black Dragon is a wandering, suspenseful tale of grief, love and choice.

So, I've done, after sitting on it, going through my yearly Winter depression slump, eating some arayes for lunch, I've finally gotten The Last Black Dragon (TLBD or tlbd for when im feeling frisky 😏) publication ready.

Done on Draft2Digital after some grief with Reedsy's EPUB exporter, it's marinating and waiting to be released unto unsuspecting readers on the 30th of July, so chosen because 30 is a nice round number :)

I will say, D2D was very easy to use to the point where now I feel a little bit like I might have fucked it...
